Wonderfull image! I love the textures you were able to do on the background!
The arrior is also excelent, I love his armour, tha t is very well done, and he seams to be hurt from the battle, not only by the pose but also from his face, which is excellent because you could transmit his pain by his expression! The horse is also good but not so god as the warrior. I believe that if you made the picture all night till day the horse would be better because you have a great talent
Something I specially liek his how the hair of the horse is flowing along with the warrior's hair, soemhow I really the resemblance!
The only thing I would change it's the background colour, for soem reason I think that yellowish colour isn't the best to transmit the pain he's feeling.

works really well, it gives a nice contrast and pushes the rider forward.
The overall mood is quite sombre, but it's a strong atmosphere.
